A. S. Rose returned to his
home in Farmington Tuesday
morning. He is much improv
ed in health and his many friends
both here and there will be pleas
ed to learn of his recovery.
Miss Vera Carter of Brigham,
sister of Mrs. Jennie Wallis re
turned home Monday. She was
accompanied by Mrs. Wallis's
babies who spent ono day with
their grandmama in the county
seat.
Geo. W. Austin and Charles
Munns went to Lehi Sunday to
attend the funeral services of
Mrs. Rose Austin, wife of Parley
Austin, who died in that city
New Year's day. The funeral
was held Monday.
Ezra Jensen, who has been
assisting Agent F. F. Gross at
the depot, left Monday to take
a special business course at the
Utah Agricultural College of
Logan. G. W. Miller has taken
his place at the place.
The Sunday School children
were given a free dance at the
hall last Saturday afternoon and
in the evening the officers,
teachers and older members en
joyed themselves in tripping
the light fantastic roe.
W. L. Grover got in two cars
of coal Wednesday and a line
of teams from the depot to town
Were after it. A number of them
jgot about 200 to 500 pounds and
the rest got "nit." Whenever
a car of coal comes in teams
from EHwood to Riverside come
here to get it and many times
our town people "go short1' on
this account.

who came home for the holidays
have all returned to resume their

The Misses Hazel Carlisle and
Mattie Strong of Alpine, who
have made this city their home
for the past year or more, re
turned to their old home last
week. Miss Strong was chief
operator at the central office of
the R. M. B. Tel. Co. and Mus
Carlisle was formerally one of
the "central", girls but later
lady clerk at the B. M. & P. Co.
