KICK BY MULE
, IS WORTH $3,800
Enid, Okla Jan. 31. A kick on
the head by a mule was worth $3800
to John Allen, a farmer living near
here. Immediately after Allen was
operated on today for fracture of the
. skull, which the mule's kick had In
flicted last Saturday, ho remembered
where ho had burled that amount of
money in the financial panic of 1907.
Allen's memory was Impaired by
an Injury he reclved when his team
ran away and threw him out of a'
wagon a few days after he had bur
led the money. It was known that
he had withdrawn the money from
a bank and several persons suspect

After the oporatlon made neces
