OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION,
Cedar City, Iron County,
State of Utah.
WHEREAS, there ia immediate and
pressing need of raising funds for the
purpose of installing a modern and
ompletc street lighting system within
nafcLCitv for tho purpose of supplying
ciflKty and the inhabitants thereof

wne"(" and controlled by said munici
pality, and,
WHEREAS, there is immediate and
pressing need for purchasing grounds
lor a Public Park within City and to
)oy out, establish nnd improve such
grounds, and,
"WHEREAS, there is immediate and
pressing need for increasing, improv
ing, cnlnrging, extending, perfecting
and adding to tho present wat
r works system of said City,
and securing an additional water
supply for the purpose of sup
plying nnd distributing water to the
inhabitants thereof, the same to be
owned and controlled by said munic-
IPN0W" THEREFORE, notice is
hereby given than on Saturday the
1st day of May, 1920, a special elec
tion will be held within the limits of
Cedar1 City, Iron County, Utah, for
tho purpose of submitting to the qual
ified voters of said City as shall havd
paid a property tax therein in the
year next proceeding such election the
following propositions, to-wit:
FIRST. "Shall the negotiable ,
coupon bonds of Cedar City, Iron
Co., Utah, in tho sum of Nine
Thousand Dollars (?9,000) payable ,
in not exceeding twenty years
from the date of issue, bearing
interest at tho rate of not exceed
ing six per cent (G) per annum,
payable semi-annually be issued
' ' and sold for purpose of defraying
expense of installing a modern
and complete street lighting sys
tem within said City for tho pur
pose of supplying said City and
tho inhabitants thereof with arti
' Hcial light, tho same to be owned

SECOND. "Shall the municipal

of not exceeding six per cent

annually, bo issued and sold for
the purpose of defraying the ex
pense of increasing, improving,
enlarging, extending, perfect
ing and adding to the pres
ent watenvorks system of said
