Lako county, Stato of Utah.
That the defendant, Asa Phillip
Stanford, at ono time held a portion
of tho titlo to said mining claim in
his name, in trust, however, for cer
tain persons residing in Great Brit
ain; that ho resigned his trusteeship
several years ago, and from tho time
of said resignation made no claim to
have, and has not had any right, title,
claim or interest in or to said prop
erty or any part thereof; that tho title
to a portion of said mining claim still
stands on tho records in tho name oi
tho said Asa Phillip Stanford and con
stitutes a cloud upon tho titlo of tho
plaintiffs thereto; that It is not
known whether said Asa Phillip Stan
ford is living or dead; that if dead, his
heirs arc unknown, but his said heirs
have no right, title, claim or Interest
In or to said mining claim or any part
thereof.
That -Jane Doo Stanford, whoso
Christian name Is unknown, tho wife
of said Asa Philip Stanford, and
neither her nor her unknown heirs, It
sho bo dead, have any right, title,
claim or interest In or to said mining
claim.
That tho other above named de
fendants claim to have somo Hen or
claim on said property, which claim
Is without right, and plaintiffs pray
that they havo their titlo quieted to
said property and tho cloud removed.

Paris havo recently traveled many
miles in an automobile, from which
thoy havo preached to tho large num
ber of country people assembled in
market places and at fairs, ar 1 distrib

New Road In Panama.
Tho road from tho port of Agua
dulce to tho city of Aguadulco with
tho necessary bridges and grades la
almost complete, says tho Panama
Star and Herald. It will contlnuo
through Aguadulco to tho Santa Maria
river, which will bo crossed by an
immense steel bridge.
