I I H THE WESTERN WEEKLY f i Jesse L. Lasky's latest production entitled, "A Night on a I j Houseboat," heads the bill. These productions arc world-famous. The act for next week is said to be his best production, the scenic effect is novel, displaying an elaborate double-decked houseboat pro ffli fuscly decorated with garlands, flags and lanterns, on which a party OI young people and their chaperon arc enjoying a summer outing. jl A foppish Englishman visits the boat, the part of the Englishman is played by O'Mallcy Jennings, a well-known English comedian W and the comedy he obtains from the part is perhaps one of the best li bits in vaudeville. Then there arc other good character parts. i Next is Miss Katie Marry, the famous little English comedienne. II who has been connected with a number of the most popular musical attractions. She came to America from England to create the part of IS "Fifi" in "The Chinese Honeymoon." Miss Barry sings delightfully 11 and will render a number of the songs that she has made popular in l . the East. j Three .years ago last Christmas the Orpheum opened and one M of the most pleasant recollections of the program of the opening I night was the dainty, charming act of the Misses May and Flora l Hcngler.
