New Steamer Columbia Arrives
The new steamer Columbia, the first
of a number of the same class built
*md building at Wilmington. Del., for
service on this coast, arrived here yes
terday 771 2 'lays from Philadelphia, in
command of Captain S. K. Allen. The
Columbia was built for Wilson Broth
ers & Co. of this city and will be used
by them on the coast as a lumber
transport. The Columbia Is not grace
ful. It has a bow like the butt pml of
a saw tog and. to the pye of a lands
man, should have another mast aft of
■ mokefttack. In marine arehitec

of the most efficiently equipped vessels
