their mother, was introduced yester
day before Judge G. A. Sturtevant.
Clarence M. Hunt had testified that
he had received deeds to the property
of his wife, valued at $100,000, before
her death, and that they were not given
to him in trust for the son and daugh
ter. Miss Addie L. Ballou, a notary
public, declared on the witness stand
that she attested several deeds by both
Hunt and Mrs. Hunt, and that she saw
them exchange the deeds in her pres
ence. The defendant denied the ex
change, declaring that the deeds to his
own property had been placed by him
in his pocket and never given to his
wife.
The children seek to have the deeds
set aside that were given to their
father by their mother and ask that the
property be created into a trust and
that both plaintiffs and defendant have
a third interest therein.
