Mrs. de Lancey said her claim was assigned to her by her husband, John de L;tjicey, attorney for former Public Administrator George Gray. -. De Lancey held a power of attorney from the McDonnells to represent them in the distribution of ; Mrs. ,; Roach's estate, dated October 27. 1909. and for his services he was to secure half, Mrs. de Liancey alleged. The McDonnells were declared direct heirs of Mrs. Roach after the estate had been in court since her death in 3 90S and each was given $1,910. Mrs. de Lancey sued for that amount.
