Trask left this morn i ig for Walker, where he will visit a number of the lumber camps in that vicinity. Ed Bereman, the Dexterville tonsorial artist, renewed ac quaintances in thecity yesterday, returning home last night. Rev. E. M. Peterson left this morning for Lakeport, and from there he will go to Lake George to hold Norwegian Lutheran ser vices tomorrow7. Hyde., the aged man who died at the poor farm Thursday night, were in terred in Greenwood cemetary this afternoon, the funeral being held from the Lahr undertaking establishment. Mrs. H. K. Halvorson, wife of the late senior memb er of the firm of Halvorson & Carlson, and her son A. T. Halvorson, return ed this afternoon to their home in Minneapolis after having spent two weeks in the city. Mr Carter says that at the present time there are five logging camps operating tributary to Tenstrike aud the approximate cut will reach 15,000,000 feet of logs, 50,- 000 posts and 100,000 poles. Judge Pendergast yesterday sentenced John Anderson, ac cused of drunkenness and vagrancy, to a term of 30 days in the county jail. Anderson has served several terms in the county jail and upon his release he will be compelled either to go to work or leave the city. Dr. Warninger left last night for Kelliher and from there he will go to several camps of the Beltrami Timber company to render veterinary services to a number of sick horses. County Auditor Wilmann has received a number of requests for application blanks forth or ganizotion of new townships, and it is probable that at least three will be organized at the next meeting of the board of county commissioners. Th descrip tions of the towns from which requests for blanks have been re ceived are 156 37, 156 36 and 151- 30.
