There will be another sale of state school and swamp land of the county Wednesday, May 12. June 8 has been named as the next meeting date of the Beltrami county board of commissioners. May 10 has been selected as the date of the annual sale of lands on which there are delinquent taxes. That pedestrians should not cut across lots, but should keep to the sidewalks. Help protect the lawns and boulevards. Beltrami county's annual fair will be held on September 15, 1G, 17 and 18. September 15 will be entry day. The state fair will be in progress September 6 to 11. Frank Rippel, chief of police, left this morning'for Fergus Falls where he will appear before the grand jury of the Federal court on several cases involving the prosecution of men held on charges of introducing liquor in to Indian territory in violation of the 1855 treaty. Mrs. Rowe McCamus of Brookston, a former resident of Bemidji, came to the city Saturday. Miss Violetta Brant of Lewiston, Idaho, who has been in Bemidji for some time, will accompany Mrs. McCamus to Brook ston and will visit there for some time before returning to Idaho.
