No Booze Allowed. Secretary Madison stated emphat ically that the drinking of liquor among the men members of the I. W. W. who were out was strictly prohibited and would not be tolerated for a moment. He further stated that any member who violated this in struction would forfeit any rights or benefits of the organization and not be allowed to participate in any manner. Strike Becomes National. According to Secretary Madison, the strike has reached above the heads of the local branch and over evjry Intervening head between the local branch and the general head quarters in Chicago, and that the strike was now under the direction of the national headquarters offi cials. He also stated that if neces sary 20,000 members of the organi zation could be mobilized in at the scene of the trouble. He also vol unteered the information that about 20 members of the I. W. Thorne, organizer for the I. W. W., left Bemidji yesterday for Gemmell and when on the train and nearing Gemmell was arrested by the sheriff from International Falls and taken to International Falls.
