Skinvick will entertain the Ladies Aid society of the First Scandinavian Lutheran church to morrow afternoon in the basement of the church. A cordial invitation is extended to all. EPISCOPAL GUILD The Episcopal Guild will meet in the church basement tomorrow af ternoon at 2:30 o'clock instead of Thursday afternoon. Mesdames G. G. Bowers and C. W. Brandborg will be hostesses. Everybody welcome. Personals and Newsy Notes Mrs. Charles Zahnn and daughter, Lois, of Proctor, who have been the guests of Rev. and Mrs. B. D. Hans com since Saturday, will return to their home tomorrow. They have at tended the wedding of Mrs. Zahnn's daughter, Clara Miller, to Tom Porte ot Grand Forks, which took place last week. Mr. Porte, who is a jeweler in Grand Forks, is well known in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kingberger and Mr. and Mrs. Ingalls and daugh ter of Sauk Center, who have been guests at the A. Flatner home for the past few days, left yesterday for the state park. They have been tour ing the northern part of the state, making the trip by automobile. Rev and Mrs O Grambo of the Fifth ward left this morning by au tomobile for Fargo, N. Miss Jessie Dodge, who has made her home with relatives in Madeha, Minn, for the past year, was in Be midji yesterday enroute to Solway, where she will visit relatives. Mrs Walter Nichols, who has been the guest of her parents, Mr and Mrs. I. E Raymond, of the town of Frohn for two weeks, returned to her home in Melrose yesterday Mr. and Mrs. I. Nygaard returned this morning from the Twin Cities where they attended the amalgama tion convention of the Norwegian Lutheran churches. Mrs. James Wheeler of Bass Lake was in the cfcty yesterday to attend the funeral of Mrs. B. Banfell.
