D., Pastor. Sunday was a day of special interest to the congregation of Central church. The otTiciiil hoard had requested a special offering for I lie benevolence of the conference and a large response was given. The pastor explained in ;i striking way the "Open door," and what il means to the u neon verted, In the believer and Io the church of Cod. The holy communion was administered and four names, Mrs. Kate 11. Sale, (!eo. O. Sale. .Jr., Wilber Sale and Miss Vista Wood, were added to the roll, thus completing the list of 7o names received as members during the year. Some vases of beautiful flowers adorned the pulpit and the communion service was in perfect order. 1 The services at night were largely attended and by a congregation composed mostly of young people. The choir was large and well directed by Mrs. Burr Martin; the singing was spirited and there was a duel well rendered by |)r. and Mrs. Whit Connor. The mid-week serivces will be the prayer meeting on Wednesday night at 8 o clock and the Fpworth League on Thursday night. INCORPORATORS MEET. Augusta and Edgefield Railroad?
