Columbia, June 2.?The reenroll- j
ment of Democratic voters will begin j
un next Tuesday at eevry club and j
ward Dreeinct throughout the State, j
The books have beeu shipped by Sec- j
retary W. C. McGowan, of the State J
Democratic executive committee, to j
the forty-five county chairmen in tho
State, and these in turn have distri- j
buted them to the club secretaries.!
The books will open on Tuesday 1
morning and every Democratic voter I
must sign his name in full on the j
club rolls, together with his age and |

will remain open for sixty days.
Qualifications for eligibility to vote j
in the Democratic primaries are: ]
Citizens of the United States, two
years residence in the iState, one year
in the county and four months in tho i
city ward or voting precinct. The j
books close thirty days prior to the j
first primary and all persons whose i
names are not on the books by that!
time will be barred from voting.

commission was named here today by

chairman; B. F. McLeod of Charleston

L. Wagon of Union, a merchant; E.
M. Croxton of Lancaster, a hanker;
T. W. Berry of Latta, a farmer; J.
B. iSchuler of Parler, a farmer, and
D. A. Geer of Belton a merchant and
farmer. The board consists of seven,
one from each congressional district, j
and is empowered to pass on and decide
cases which are taken before
them on appeals from the rulings and
findings of the tax commission.

Miss Catherine Enlow wife of Mr.
J. A. Enlow died at their home in the
Mollohon section of the county last
Thursday morning at 1 o'clock and
was buried at eBth. Eden Thursday
afternoon at 3 o'clock. The deceased
was 72 years of age and leaves an
