Robbers in Marlboro.
From what has developed recently
itis to be presumed there is a regular
ly organized band of robbers in Marl
boro County. A number of robberies
bave been committed recently. War
rants have been issued against a num
ber of parties and several arrests have
been made. The sheriff has been di
wgent in his search for goods that were
stolen from the store of C. P. Hodges
and from that of Pegues Bros., and he
has been quite successful. The rob
heries have ceased for the present, and
it is hoped the organization is broken.
