Choice small farms. The Quackenbush Farm, subdivided on Santee River Road, five miles southeast of Davis Station, S. C., and thirteen miles
from Manning, S. C. Colored school and church oon the place; also good stores, schools and churches near this farm. The property to be offered consists
of about 1400 acres with about 800 acres cleared and in cultivation and 600 acres in wood land. The 800 in cultivation consists of Norfolk Sandy loam
top soil with clay subsoil which will produce fine crops of cotton, tobacco, corn, oats, etc. The average yield of cotton is about one-half bale per acre
tobacco about 1,000 pounds, corn about 25 bushels. On the 600 acres of wood lands are about one and one-half to two million feet of cypress and gum
timber and about 1,000,000 feet of pine timber, and an unlimited supply of cord wood. Part of the 600 acres is very fine for stock raising The land
is practically level and well drained and is supplied with water from artesian wells. The buildings orn the place consist of one main dwelling, seven
rooms, in good condition, twenty-five tenant houses in good condition, grist mill, saw mill, and other necessary outbuildings. Only last year this
farm produced 1800 pounds of seed cotton per acre, 50 bushels corn, 60 barrels Irish potatoes and 1000 pounds of tobacco. Very fine farming land, in
deed, and you can do as well with this land as the present owner. On this property is located a fish pond containing twenty-five or thirty acres which is
exempted and will not be sold on day of sale.
Go out and inspect these small farms into which this farm has been subdivided today. Each and everyone will front on a good road, each will
have some wood land as well as cleared land. Your price is going to do the buying on very easy terms which wil be announced on day of sale-pos
session to the purchasers January 1, 1920. If you want to buy one or more good small farms and make a start now is your opportunity. By all means
