Mrs. Sullivan Says Tanlac Gave Her
Quicker Relief Than Any
Greenville Woman Says For Years
She Never Felt Well but Tanlac
Gave Her Health
"Of all the medicines I have taken

relief," declared Mrs. Janie Sullivan,
of- No. 15 Vance St., Greenville, S. C.,
in a statement she gave in indorse
ment of Tanlac. "I had suffered from
indig. stion for years when I began
taking Tanlac, and with the indiges
tion I had had nervous attacks. I'
would get so short of breath that I
would pant for hours, just like a per
son who had been running. I had to
be very careful of what I ate, for
everything I ate hurt me. I nearly
always had headaches and never did
feel really well.

shortness of breath, though, and my
stomach soon was built up, regulated
and strengthened, so I ate heartily
and wdis not troubled with indigestion.

WALKOUT AT COLUMBIA
Columbia, Aug.. 4.-Approximately
700 members of the five allied ma
chinists crafts employed at the local
shops of the Southern and Seaboard
Air Line Railways went out on a
strike here this mornng for an in
creased wage scale.- The walkout
was in obedience to orders from the
national federation, %nich has called
a nationwide strike.
Approximately 600 machinists em
ployed at the Southern Shops laid
down Their tools at 10 o'clock this
morning and quietly quit work. Offi
cials of the craftsmen's unions said
that the strike was 100 per cent
strong, both white artisans and negro
helpers walking out.
At the local Seaboard Shops about
ninety or 100 workmen obeyed the
