Warsaw, Aug. 23.-Russion Bolshe
vik forces are reacting virtually along
the whole line in an effort to save the
remnants of the Red army, but they
have so far been easily frustrated by

body of the Poles, advancing from
Warsaw, occupied all thle territory in

Reds Retreat in Panic.

Grajevo and other places.
The attitude of the United States
with respect to the invasion of Rus
sian territory was made plain to Po
land formally in the United States
