GRASS SEED FOR SALE
We have engaged 1000 pounds of
Carpet grass seed out of this years
crop. The cost is 50 cents per pound
f. o. b. Centreville, Mississippi. Part
of this is available at cost for any
farmers in this neighborhood who de

Carpet grass is a broad-leafed
perennial similar to Charleston lawn
grass. It makes seed, puts out runners
and is very aggressive but not a pesk4.
It stands considerable frost and often
provides grazing as late- as Christmas.
