If you have ideas if you can THINK we will show you the '
secrets of this fascinating new profession. Positively no experience
or literary excellence necessary. No "flowery language" is wanted.
The demand for photoplays is practically unlimited. The big film
manufacturers are "moving heaven and earth" in their attempts to
get enough good plots to supply the ever increasing demand. They
are offering $100 and more for single scenarios, or written ideas.
Nearly all the big film companies, the buyers of photoplays, are
located in or near NEW YORK CITY. Being right oh the spot, and
knowing at all times just what sort of plots are wanted by the pro
ducers, our SALES DEPARTMENT has a tremendous advantage
over agencies situated in distant cities.
We have received many letters from the big film manufacturers,
such as VITAGRAPH, EDISON, ESSANAY, LUBIN, SOLAX, IMP,
REX, RELIANCE, CHAMPION, COMET, MELIES, ETC., urging
us to send photoplays to them We want more writers and we'll
gladly teach you the secrets of success.
We are selling photoplays written by people who "never
before wrote a line for publication."
Perhaps we can do the same for you. If you can think of only
one good idea every week, and will write it out as directed by us, and
it sells for only $25, a low figure,
You Will Earn $100.00 Monthly for Spare Time Work.
ERE I? Send your name and address at once for free copy of our
TlVfifi illustrated book, "MOVING PICTURE PLAYWRITING."
Don't hesitate. Don't argue. Write NOW and learn just what
this new profession may mean for you and your future. i

Evidence that can be verified.
Fact is what we want.
Opinion is not enough.
Here's a Mt. Sterling fact.
John Foreman, 8 Montgomery
street, Mt. Sterling, Ky., says:
"I have been a hard worker all
my life and never once considered
that to over-do would some day
brinsr on back or kidney troubles.
"When I had some lifting or heavy
work to do I just went about it
and did it and in that way wrench
ed my back. I was laid up for
several days at the time and began
looking around for a cure. I did
not lind anything that would help
me until I got Doan's Kidney Pills
at Duerson's Drue Store. They
soon made inc feel well and strong
and free from kidney trouble.
The above statement was given
in 1908 and during a personal
interview Mr. Foreman said:
"Doan's Kidney Pills have done
me more good than anything else
I have ever taken. 1 am glad to
confirm what I said heretofore."

DO It NOW. '
With the weather as it is it is
difficult to realize that Christmas
is only two weeks from today, and
we doubt if there is a single reader
of the Advocatk who has begun
to purchase Christinas presents.
And what a rush and bustle and
hurry there will be two weeks
from today. The stores crowded,
the clerks wearied, the shopper
hurried, and everybody worn out.
It is not worth while for thoso
who are going to give Christmas
presents to sit down quietly to
night, and tomorrow night, and
discuss with their families what
they shall purchase and make their
purchases before the rush begins,
While ttiis weather lasts the stores
are nearly vacant. Taxes have
not been paid, the money for the
tobacco has not yet begun to come
in, there is not yet any touch of
Christmas in the air, so every
shopper can have all the attention
possible in any store in Mt. Ster
ling. Greater variety of selection,
better opportunity to examine,
more considerate attention, will bo
the rewards of thoso who will
shop now, instead of putting off
their Christmas shopping until the
last days before Christmas, when
there will certainly be hurrying
crowds, and in all probability
wind, rain and snow.

To Consumers of Natural Gas.
In answer to many inquiries, the
management of this company is
pleased to state that the plans
which were made public last fall,
for extending its main lines across
the mountains of Kentucky to the
West Virginia gas fields, have
been put into execution; the work
of constructing the line has been
vigorously prosecuted although
from the nature of the country it
has been a difficult and costly un
dertaking and we are absolutely
sure of its completion in ample
time to furnish all consumers with
a full supply. We deem it proper
and fair to give our consumers
this information so that they may

Commission, tho Phoenix Hotel
Company, of Lexington, has been
fined heavily for having had quail
in possession out of season. Tho
trial of thirty cases against tho
defendant brought out tho fact
that the quail had been served as
"Plm-nir birds." TllO 'TllOCIUX
birds," less than three dozen of
of them, were foumt in tne noici
refrigerator through tho instru
mentality of a search warrant,
and will cost the defendant about
l.000 in tines and costs.
It has been the custom of hotels
all over the country, for many
years, to serve quail out of season
under various factitious names,
nnt iWiiTnpd to hide the violation
of tho law from any officer who
miiriif wish to enforce it, but
merely to provide an excuse for
officers not interested in enforcing
it. The Lexington hotel merely
followed routine. It ran upon a
snag, because there is now in pro
gress a genuine and highly com
mendable, and. promising effort to
give tho fish and game law vitality.
The present fish and game law
is better than its predecessors in
that it provides the machinery for
its enforcement. A good deal is
being done to impress habitual
violators of the law with the fact
that they must reform or expect
difficulties. If the enforcement of
the law continues to be as vigorous
as it now is it will not be long be
fore a very large majority of per
sons, ana corporations will get it
through their heads that it is like
ly to cost as much to disregard the
laws against larceny. The result
will be that Kentucky will have
game in the fields and fish in the
waters, and Kentucky soortsraen
will not spend all of their vacation
money outside ot the State.
