Th is is the direct result of a conference between the National Associa tion of Automobile Dealers and the. Government War Industries Board, and sets at rest the alarming reports emenating from Washington newspaper correspondents that the industry must come to a full 100 per cent war basis. U tl Nueces County is engaged IN PICKING THE BIGGEST COTTON CROP IT I VER RAISED. That means that the demand for automo biles will be greater than ever, but, with a curtailment of 75 per cent in manufacture, it must be apparent to everyone that there will not be enough cars to go around. Cotton prices are higher because of decreased production and the Laws of Commerce are that the scarcer an article becomes, the higher is its price, and automobiles are not exceptions. The automobile is no longer a luxury; time was when it was the play thing of the wealthy class, but a car is now as necessary to the farmer as his plow and cultivator. OUR MR. CHARLES IS IN CORPUS CHRISTI to give you the op portunity of securing absolutely the best car in its price-class that the worltl has ever produced, a car economical to own, economical to op erate and at a price you can afford to pay. Present prices cannot be guaranteed for a week not even a clay for when we receive advices front the factory that an advance has gone into effect, our prices are automatically changed to correspond.
