NOT ONE SORE NOW
Baby Afflicted With Bad Sores and Krup
tlons o Relief Permanently
Cured by tho Cntlcura
During the summer of 15S3 my eighteen
months old Infant was so aOlcted with erup
tions that ordinary domestic remedies failed to
give any relief On his hips would often appear
the seeming track of a little wire like worm
and on other parts of his body bad sores came
and remained till I procured the CmcriiA
Kemedies For some time I used the soap and
salve without a blood medicine but they did
not do so well as when all were used together
It has now been nearly a year since the erup
tion was healed and I very much feared it
would return with the warm waather of this
year but the summer Is passed and not one
sore has appeared on him

April 16 1891
To the Gazette
I noticed in TrtE Gazette to day a short
editorial suggesting settling up Tarrant
county with people Being a Tarrant
county man as well as an Oklahoma boomer
I drop you a line oh the subject if it have no
other effect than to make some land shark
kick In the first place what inducements
are offered settlers in Tarrant county
Second what means are employed to let
the homeseekers know of these induce
ments f The answers to those two o es
tious settles the problem Our colony book
to day shows that ninety sis families of
homeseekers have sent in their names to
join us and get homes since March 7 There
is little doubt but wo will have from one to
two thousand by January next Everv
one of these must settle on this side of Reel
river for probably a year They can drive
to the Territory in three days from Fort
Worth They can travel almost there in
three hours by rail Do the people of
Fort Worth and Tarrant county want them
to settle here and await the opening of the
Fort Sill country There is only one rea
son why it will not be done Because Tar
rant offers no inducements that will attract
them Your capitalists offer a bonus to
this big concern a bonus to that concern
and then double the price on the settlers
I id it never occur to mem to offer induce
ments to men of small means to settle here
improve their homes and build up this
country Our Texas location will probably
be selected aud secured this mouth Why
do I leave Tarrant county to select it Be
cause I do not know of lam owners here
that will co operate with us If thoso own
ing vacant land adjoining Fort Worth want
houses and eople in them on their land
and are willing to divide the profit with the
settlers that the settlers make the land
owners let them write us at jjnee It takes
people and houses to give value to land
We know what creates that wealth and will
give land owners a just divide and no more
Wichita Wilbarger or Clay county will tret
the benefits of tho settlers only because UaRfS
they offer inducements which in TairanCT5 p
county s condition they cannot afford to do
If Fort Worth and Tarrant county want
this move centered here let their vacant
land owners and vacant lot owners notify
me at once what inducements in land bar
gains they will give oursetlers After
ten days it will be too late We are going
