Tliis extensive wholesale Dry Goods House is now in full blast, having in store a Ftock of goods which astonishes even the most expe rienced buyers by its extent and variety. The Mers. Eakin & Co., are among the pioneers in the trade here, and have the advantage of a long experience in catering to the peculiar . ta-les of our Southwestern merchants. One of the firm is established permanently at the North, where he has an opportunity of taking advantage of every favorllo aspect of the market, and is thereby enabled to offer the most enticing bargains. For the present sea 6ou'ai trade they have bought largely, antici pating heavy Bales, and their shelves present one of the handsomest specimens of elegant and rich dress goods of all descriptions for ladies and gentlemen that we have ever ex amined. The experienced eye and cultivated taste of their buyer is visible in the well se Jected assortment exhibited, In the mazy laba- rynths of which the most particular and pe culiar fancy cannot fail to be suited. Their etock of cassiiners is unusually large, and em braces the finest French fabrics. In the ready made clothing department they are also pre pared to fill all sorts of bills; as, indeed, they are in all the various branches belonging to the trade. Merchants should not fail to call upon them. JVhkat Correction. In our commercial report yesterday we stated that the shipment' of wheat from this point amount to over 86,000 lushels.
