GRAND PUBLIC SALE
OF OYER TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY

Tuesday, May 22, 18GG, commencing at 10

the Cambria Iron Works, (which are not
surpassed in the nation) for three hundred
years or more. The hum of industry must
be heard in these valleys down to the end
of time.

Ilally the System.
After a disease has been conquered, there
is Btill the weakness that it leaves behind it
to be removed. Convalescence is a tedious
affair. If the enfeebled and flaccid muscles,
the (diattered nerves, and tho watery blood
could speak, they would cry for help. In
too many cases such help as is given them
is not c-f the right kind. The fiery stimu
lants of commeue do harm. They kindle a
temporary name, which is a mockery. Their
effect passes, and the last state of him who
uses them is worse than the first.
Not such is the effect of Hostettek's
Stom ach Bitters. There is no drawback
to their toning properties. Balsamic plants
and barks and roots contribute their resto
rative juices to render this soothing and
strengthening preparation a protective and
remedial cgeut. Its basis is the ouly pure
stimulant which has ever been produced
containing no fusel oil or any other deleteri
ous element. The most careful and skillful
chemists have analyzed the Bitters, and pro
nounced them harmless.
This is t he scientific testimony ; but the
testimony of the hundreds of thousands who
have experienced the preventive and cura
tive effects of the Great Vegetable Tonic and
Alterative of modem times is still more con
clusive. In fever and ague, dyspepsia, bil
iousness, nervous complaints, general debil
ity, and chrcnic complaints it is as neatly
infallible as anything in this fallible world
can be. Sold everywhere.
EliROUS OF YOUTH.
A Gentleman who suffered for years from
Nervous Debility, Premature Decay, ainl all
the affects of youthful indiscretion, will, for
the sake of suffering humanity, send free to
all who need it, the receipt at.d directions
for making the simple remedy by which he
was cured. Sufferers wishing to profit by
the advertiser's experience, can do so by
addressing.
