FUN PROMISED AT THEATER The Spinster's Return Will Be Pre sented By Local Talent Next Monday Night. The public is promised * rare treat for Monday night at the We natchee theater. That is the date set for the "Spinster's Return," which will be presented by the Ladies' guild will be assited by the orches- The play is a sequel of the "Old Maid's Convention," which was pre sented here three years %30 in Rar ey's hall and is remembered with much mirth. Monday night the "spinsters" will relate their adven tures in the quest for husbands and the fate that befell thm. The key note to the play is fun, fun that will keep the audience in an uproar from start to finish. The ladies of the guild will be assisted by the orches tra and Messrs. O. S. Stocker, David Gellatly, Claude Tubbs, D. Fisk and others. The laides' guild has devot ed much time to a thorough prepara tion for the play and an entertain ment that will greatly please and highly amuse can be confidently promised. Several excellent musical numbers will be rendered which will prove an additional attraction. The proceeds from the perform ance are to be applied to paying off the dept on the Episcopal rectory.
