THE WBNATCHBE DAILY WORLD, WENATCHEE, WASHINGTON, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1909.
We Are Still Doing
Owing to alterations in our building at 22 Wenatchee Avenue,
some people have the impression that we have shut up shop.
Nothing is further from the truth. We still have a few hundred
acres of choice land under the Methow Canal Company's ditch
which will be offered in Wenatchee till December first. On that
date our land will be taken off the market until we open at an
advanced price next spring. This means if you want to get in
the game you will have to act promptly. If you don't nobody will
lose but yourself. A lot of Wenatchee citizens have spent good
time and money this summer hunting for "cheap land" in the
Methow. Now we have a few vertical farms in the foothills
above our ditch which we could sell at $30 an acre and make a
profit of $29.90 cents, but we have another system. For instance
a ten acre tract lies half above and half below the ditch. It sounds
well to offer it as a ten b acre irrigated tract at $100.00 per acre
and then explain at the last minute that the water only reaches
half of it. We prefer to offer it as a five acre tract at the regular
price and make you a present of the un-irrigated land.
Now here is what we want you to know: Every acre of land we
offer at any price is smooth, rich, level bench land with plenty of
water; if you want bargains we have them but we have no cheap
land for sale. Only 30 more days. Don't buy if you don't want
to, but you owe it to yourself to look.
IF YOU ARE TOO BUSY TO COME IN AND SEE US, FILL THIS OUT AND WE WILL SEND
YOU ALL DATA AT ONCE.
