The Herald's despatch bays : It is stated that the Arkansas Senators and those of sev eral Southern states will be admitted soon and be enrolled among the Judges in the court of Impeachment. C. delegates have arrived, thus com pleting the Southern li-t of delegates. Gov. Ward of K. J. will call the convention U order at noon to-day, and he will recognise a delegate who will propose Gen. Carl Selmrz as temporary chairman. This gentleman ap pears to be the unanimous choice for that position. Then a committee of one from eai-h etato is to be appointed on permanent or ganization and platform ; after which the convention will probably adjourn till after dinner. On re-assembling the committee will report after which an adjournment till Thursday may be effected. For permanent President Gov. llawlcy of Connecticut seems to be the choice, though J. II. Bingham and Gov. Fletcher are named. Neither the friends oi Sickles nor Vanzandt are a well organized as Hawley's. The financial question will bo one of the leading features of the platform and the anti repudiating resolutions of the lllin 'W Repub lican Convention will probably e adopted.
