A real estate deal of some note is the sale of the Green Mountain Inn property by Mark C. Lovejoy lo Corne lius L. McMahon, who has pin chased for F. S. Boardman. Mr. Boardman will take possession October 1 and will thereafter have the management of the Inn, continuing at the same time his restaurant business in the Boardman block, where his family will remain. The inn Is one of the landmarks of Stowe. The building was erected in 1S33 as a dwelling house by Mr. Love Joy's grandfather, Peter c. Lovejuy. and by him was sold to Stlllinan Churchill, who remodeled the building, converting it Into n hotel. The hotel subsequently became the property of the Ml. Mansfield Hotel company and later of William P. .Barley. Mr. Love Joy puichased the property of Mr.'. Bailey in 1X5;. Mr. and Mrs. 12. II.
