Finally Trustee George Smith called the attention of the chairman to the fact that the board was there to do the village busi ness and the representatives of the light ing company were there to explain their lighting system, and not to hear family talk. The chair sustained Mr. Smith's point and Mr. Lavallee subsided long enough to allow the light representatives to finish. During the meeting he would mumble a few words while others were talking, but he left the meeting about ten o'clock, when called out by a friend. The remains of Edward McGreevy ar rived Tuesday night from Groton, Mass., where the deceased was a student at Lawrence Academy, dying In a hospital, after a train accident. The remains were accompanied here by his mother? who was called to Groton Sunday night, and Mrs. McGreevy's sister, Mrs. Nellie Cahalan, and D. J. Cahalan of Burlington, who also went to Groton. When ho was 10 years old he came to America to live. In November, I860, he married Catherine Corven, who died a little over a year ago. He Is survived by his son, James: two daughters, Mrs. C. E.
