Jennie Castle Holmes died at the home of her brother A. G. Castle, August 7. Mrs. Holmes sus talned a shock some weeks ago but ral lied and was able to sit up the day be fore her death. Rowley a taw days ago, charging him with selling In toxicating liquor Illegally, and entered a, plea of guilty to the charge. He wan fined $300 and costs, which ho arranged to pay. The Intoxicating liquor sold was In the form of lemon extract containing 3,1 per cent, of alcohol and wns sold under such circumstances as to make It probable that It wan Intended for uso as a beverage.
