ern Mille'r has made a thorough
investigation ot this important
subject by getting estimates
from numerous trustworthy
persons in the various sections

The returns from eight states
and one territoriy indicate the
total amount of wheat that will
bo fed during tho present crop
year win be 45,000,000 bushels,
with a possibility that it may
reaclt 50,000,000 bushels. Dur
ing tho season of 1891 5, the
amount of wheat fed, according
to tho department of agriculture,
was 75,000.000 bushels.
The feeding of wheat that
season, it was generally chimed,
was by no means a success from
' tho feeders' standpoint. It was
then asserted and is now fro
