Antiquity ok the Odd-Fellows.?The origin of the order of Odd-Fellows is of an ancient date. It was establshed by the Roman soldiers in camp, after the order of the Israelites during the reign of Nero, the Roman Empercr, who commenced his reign a. u. 55, at which time they were called Fel low Citizens. The name of Odd-Fellows was giv en to this order of men (a. d. 79) by Titus Cmsat, Emperor of Rome, from their singularity of notions, from their knowing .each other by night as well as by day, and for their fidelity to him and their coun try. In the 12th century it was established in France and afterwards in England by John d'Ne ville. !
