Monday morning June 80, 11)19, aged 82 years. Besides his wife ho is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Margaret O'Connell and Miss Anna O'Hcarn of St. Louis and Mrs. Henry Kern and Miss Mary O'Hearn of Ste. Gene vieve. His remains were taken to his home in St. Louis and the funeral took place from the Holy Name Catholic Church Thursday morning at 8:80 o'clock, after which the remains were laid to rest in tho Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Kern and Miss O'Hearn attended the funeral. Discharge Papers Must Be Recorded. All men who served in the late war must take their discharge papers to the Circuit Clerk to be recorded in a book provided for that purpose. When the storm came up ho was out in the fields with tho binder and team cutting wheat, to seek shelter lie drove his team and binder under a tree near by. A bolt struck and killed Mr. Hoggard and the two outside horses, but the horse in between tho two escaped.
