Mrs. Muriel Wiley visited Sunday with her friend, Miss Annie Noftsger. The pie social and entertainment held at the Wion school house Sat urday night, Nov. 28, was well at tended. All report a fine time. The proceeds amounted to $23.95, and Miss Annie Noftsger received the cake as being the most popular young lady and John Wion received a cake of soap as being the ugliest man present. Those spending Thursday evening at Clifford Lloyd's were Annie Nofts ger, Muriel vViley, Carl Noftsger and Freddie Wion, and Mr. and Mrs. Sell Wiley and daughter Muriel. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Richardson and Mr. and Mrs. Matt Hale visited over Sunday at the Lon Hale home. John Zimmerman and Effie Gentry were Lamoni callers Saturday. Emmett Noftsger is very busy building a new house which he ex pects to occupy soon. Mr. and Mrs. Lon Hale visited in Laoni Wednesday. Oscar Orfield of Decatur City, called at the Frank Noftsger home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lloyd and children .were Decatur callers Fri day afternoon.
