Read the Advocate Ad. onrruAnv The death angel has again visited tho homo ot Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Jenkins and torn from their midst tho loving wlfo and mother, Mrs, Saltle Jenkins. She was born Jan uary tho 8th, 1876. On July 29th, 1021, this loving wlfo nnd mother, U- apparently without a caro or n mo- 1 ments nnxlety fell nslcep In the 1 'I arms of Jesus to nwalt tho Breaf4rJvJ summons from on high. I Mrs. Jenkins professed faith in Christ and joined tho Missionary Baptist Church at Lay. Ky., and was baptized nt f the age of eighteen years. She lived a devoted and con secrated Christian llfo until tho One whom sho had been serving since her childhood days found her need- fill In Ills kingdom nnd called her from earth to glory. Dcreaved ones, think for a moment that your loss Is her eternal gain. There, ts no doubt whatever but what this dear companion, affectionate mother, kind and loving sister Is a shining angel in the realms of bliss. She now enjoys perfect health, pleasure unmixed with pain, and sweet rest without woariness. Sorrow and sigh ing are at an end In the realms ot bliss. There she will suffer no more 11 pain Is removed and her every want Is abundantly satisfied by a kind and loving Saviour, ono who considered her too precious for this sinful world. She Is reunited with father and mother and many, man loved ones that have long gone on before. Shej is thru with this old lonesome worll of toll and sorrow. She will neV know suffering, grief or pain up there. A painful cancer was destined to bring Mrs. Jenkins useful lite to an end. She suffered many months but took her suffering to Ood in humble prayer and bore it with great pa tience for well she knew there are mighty conflicts In this great Chris tian warfore. But all this has ended with Mrs. Jenkins for now she has reached the land of promise. Here we sow In tears but .iere we reap In Joy. The light afflictions ot this life, which are for but a few days, wljl Issue in eternal weight of glory If we will only look forward by tho eye of faith as did this dear ono we shall see an end of all our sorrow. Here we encounter many storms; when one has blown out another comes.. Thus these changes will continue while we sail on life's troubled sea. But during all those weary years Mrs. Jenkins had been looking for ward toward a secure heaven of rest where she would be out of tho reach of howling tempest and where the storms of her voyage would end. Now she has reached this heaven of repose and landed on the fair coast Canaan. Now she Is done with all those things which excite our fears, distress our spirit and pain our feel ings. "Many are tho afflictions of the righteous" In the present world "but the Lord dellvereth him out ot them all" In the world to come. Here we part with friends and loved ones. But Indeed, It is hard. As the husband remembers his dear companion, the children their kind mother, their hearts are at times made to break. But thtnk, dear children, that all you loved ot dear mother Is not dead. She Is far happier than you could have made ' her here on earth. Since Mrs. Jenkins' death her hus band has professed faith In Christ 'and also her son Ramon, and now I by the eye ot faith they can behold wife and mother robed and crowned y for the society ot heaven. Mother, the dearest of all. Is hard to part with but again you can meet her take her Saviour as yours and fol low In her footsteps. Mrs. Jenkins realized that the hand of death soon would ctalm her. She talked to her - husband, children, friends and rel-, atlves In regard to her hope of hea- 'l ven and prayed for those that were In sin. The bereaved ones wish to extend their heart felt thanks to their many friends and relatives for the. kind ness shown them thru the death and suffering tf the loving wife and kind and loving mother. Mrs. Jenkins was wldety known and much belov ed by all who knew her. She leaves an aged husband in this lonely world, two boys, Clyde and Ramon, and one daughter, Ivory Pearl. Speak to them kindly to make them a welcome home. Besides these she leaves two step children, Maud and Edward, whom she regarded as her own dear children and they her as their mother. But now her place is vacant In the home and etter can be filled. The voice of the loved U I one Is still. How much tbey miss ber no one can tell. But think ot her Joys and your grtet will be loss. knowing that very soon you will allWi be united around the great, whttp 1 throne. (By Request.) Ofia YMa Tfttea anal TrtaMa ' .
