Many of the farmers and businessmen
of Accomao and Northampton counties
mot at ?inly Saturday to discuss and
f trmolate plans by which the agricul?

the trucking interests now Buffering
groat depression from low price?,could,
if possible, be relieved. The meeting
was presided over by Thomas B (.?uinby.
There was a general discussion of the
causes of low prices and proposed
measures of relief. Reports by farmers
from all sections developed the fact
that there existed a large shortage in
the leading -.tapies of our truckers. A
committee of twelve leading gentlemen
of tho Shore was, on motion of Mr. F.
J McMath, appointed by the chalrimn
to consider and to report at the next
meeting a plan of organization by
which the farmers might hope to con
