The Bee Hive! I
A Doll Sale and a Reward!
Twenty-two and one-half incboa high, the best kid body, bisque
bead, hair parted in the center and a doll that ploepa is faint description
of the doll that we now have on sale. PMCE $1.19, and it ia the best $2
doll in the United States to-day.
THE REWARD!
As a proof that these dolls cannot be duplicated at this price in
this country we will give to the first person a TEN DOLLAR GOLD
PIECE, that can prove that any store in the United States is selling a
doll as large a? ours, as fine and as good in every respect and tbe same
quantity to sell that wo have. Tbe home of theeo dolls is a little village
in Germany, where an old Germ n by the name of Kurtz, famous for
doll making, his father and his fathers father made dolls and now his
children and bis grand-children are learning. Wo gaVo the order to his
Bon to send them direct to ub and now you wonder how wo found out
this little doll home, but thai'a our business. The price is $1.10 for tbe
best doll in this country and it's not too soon to begin dressing them.
Come and bring the children.

Win in Race For Represen
tative, Circuit Clerk
and Senator.
Fight For Board of Education Result!) in
Clean Sweep For the "Blue" Ticket.
The Now Councilmen Tabu
lated Returns.
The election Tuesday paseed off very
quietly in this city and county. In a
fewprccincta the clerks were rather slow,
but in nearly all of the polling places
most of the vote was in by noon. The
vote in this city for municipal officers
and Board of Education necessitated ex
tra work on the clerks, and assistants
had to be pressed into service.
Locally, interest was largely centered
in the race fir Circuit Judge and Com
monwealth's Attorney. The district has
always been very close, and the Demo
crats realized that they had a hard fLjht
on hand, on account of some disaffection
against Judge Harbeson growing out of
decisions rendered during his two teims
on the bench. The returns show that
the vote is close, and it will probably re
quiro the official count to decide the
question as to the Judgeship.
In the municipal election interest was
centered in the fiht for Board i f Educa
tion. The "Blue" ticket, known as the
"Sullie" ticket, had things well organized
in all tho wards, and made a clean sweep.
Below are found the tabuluted returns
from city and county:

BUYING
WEARING APPAREL
AND SHOES WITH A CERTAINTY
OF SATISFACTION.
The great advantage you have in buying from
us is that there is a certainty of satisfaction. If
you are displeased we don't try to persuade you
you're mistaken, or insist we are right and you
are wrong. WE PROVIDE THE CHOIC
EST STYLES. Our Clothing is skilfully tail
ored, WE EXERT EVERY CARE AS TO
FIT. We sell reasonably cheap, on account of
advantage gained by our large purchasing power,
yet with all that, if we fail to please you, after
you have taken the goods home, we cheerfully
exchange, or if you desire it, return the money.
This makes our store a safe place to deal in.
Our Men's and Boys' SHOES certainly must
give satisfaction? the growth of our Shoe de
partment is phenomenal. This proves that the
public appreciate our providing them with the
best shoes made in the country.
