Burke, who has been conducting it for five vears, to J. Wesley Young, who has been connected with the passenger bus iness of the W. P. & Y. R. for some years. The transfer will take place , March 1. The new proprietor is oueof the most popular of the employes of the W P. & Y. K. lie is well known at Skagway, Whitehorse and Dawson, in each of which towns his position has required t residence at different times. He was ticket agent at Dawson for two seasons, and while there made friends with the 'raveling public that cannot but inure; to his benefit Miss L. A. Burke, C. C. Runner and J. A. Molineaux who have been connec ted with the Fifth Avenue hotel since its inception, will devote thoir attention to mining at Nome and Tanana. Mr Molineaux will go to the latter plact' as soon as th? opening of navigation He will remain with the hotel until that time. The lease under which Mr. Young , will operate will extend over five years t;me. Mr. Blglow is a we.l known Porcupine miner and his friends can depend upon what he says. He thinks Fairbanks will be a (food camp, although they are short of provisions at present.
