The Santa Fe Pacific Taxes on Right of Way
and Other Business Matters.
The Iward met on tho 2(Jth inst. for
the purpose of investigating the mm tor
of the refusal of theSuntu Five i tic rail-
road to pay tuxes on their right of way.
The assessment of 4j acres of land In
fcectlon 22, township 21 north, range 7
east wum found to erroneous and was
thereby .reduced from $22o.0J to $11.25.
Adjournment wan taken to tho 27th
when the clerk was Instructed to write
to the boards of supervisors along tho
lino nf the Sail (a Fu Pad do in regard
to what action they Intended to take in
the matter of refusal of said road to
pay taxes on their right of way.
On the 28th the following business
.was transacted: Tho assessments of
Jesse Gregg and George HotTinan were
found to be erroneous; that said assess
ment was included in tho property of
W. .1. Gregg, and the cleric was in
structed to make correction on said
reul estate. -
