BRAVES TO HEAR
ADMIRAL MOFFETT
Chief of Bureau of Aeronautics Will
Speak to Kiwanians at Regular
Luncheon Today at San
- Carlos -
Admiral "W. A. Moffett .chief of the
Bureau of Aeronautics, will address
the Kiwanis club today on the naval
air program, as It affects the activities
of the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
The opportunity to hear Admiral
Moffett, one of the most distinguished
officers of the navy, and one most
familiar with aircraft in this country,
will no doubt make the attendance one
hundred percent at the luncheon today,
and all members are asked to. arrive
promptly.
At this time the aviation program,
more han any other feature of the
navy, is of interest throughout the
world, because of the realization that
aircraft is the determining factor in
all wars of the future.
In Pensacola the subject is of par
ticular interest, not only because of
the fact that one of the most Import
ant stations in the world Is located
at Pensacola, but also for the reason
that land flying has just been added
to the course at the Pensacola naval
air station, and that it was Pensacola's
privilege to supply two of the landing
fields to be uesd by the aviators, one
near Goulding and one west of the
city.
-Admiral Moffett is taking a course
in aviation at the Pensacola . station,
and recently made a record flight from
Pensacola to Mobile.

A traveler in relating his various
experiences In Africa, casually men
tioned how the natives protected them
selves against the ravages of the
Tsetse fly. As is generally known, the
bite of this fly results In "sleeping
sickness," a malady from which no
unfortunate ever recovers.
It was reasoned that a remedy cap
able of keeping off these flies would
also keep mosquitoes off. So In Amer
ica this remedy was reproduced as
nearly as possible. Having been found
exceptionally satisfactory as n mos-i
quito remedy, this mixture has since
been offered in commerce under the
trade name of Sweet Dreams. The ef
ficiency of the preparation has caused
its Immediate acceptance everywhere.
And the traveler doesn't yet know that
his entertaining story resulted in the
birth of an industry.
When mosquitoes are troublesome
