The Cherokee, from Pittsburg for St.
Louis, is due.
The Thomus Sherlock is due from the
Ohio fur New Orleans.

was very light.
The Kibert Mitchell leaves Cincinnati
for New Orleans this evening.
The beacon light steamer Litz. is due at
tliis port from Cincinnati.
The Alice was advertised to leave St.
Louis for l'ittcburg last evening.
The Vint Shinkle came in from the Ohio
well laden, nnd made additions here.
The Hickory goes to Ogdcn's Landing
after almrgeof lumber for St. Louis,
Tho Grand Tower had lo74 bales of cot
ton; part of which she discharged lure, tak
ing the balance to St. Louis.
The Hello Memphis had a good cargo on
arrival from St. Louis yesterday morning,
id made fair additions here.

water and full of passengers. Slie made
light additions here and departed for the

with a big trip. On her next trip south the

lard tierces for St. Louis. Captain Sam
Parker is in command of the Means.
The James Howard passed up for St.
Louis early yesterday morning drawing
five feet. She will be here en route to
New Orleans on Monday. The Howard is
the Hag ship of the Anchor Line, and will
carry a large excursion party to the South,

The Rattler, Charles Morgan, Captain
Alf. Stein, went into Cincinnati last Mon
day evening at 4 p. m. eight and one quar
ter days out from New Orleans. This is the
quickest time imulo by any boat between
these porls during the season. On the trip
the bout made twenty-six landings, lost
four hours by fog, ami three hours repair
ing wheels. The Morgan comes out of Cin
cinnati again on Saturday on her grand
New Orleans Mardi-Gras excursion trip.
