Anchor Lino palace Hteamer, City of Green
ville, leaves St. Louis on her maiden trip to
New Orleans, Her first will be an excur
sion trip, carrying passengers nt reduced
rates. The Greenville is the most elegant

ern waters in years, and is very fast. She
will bo commanded by Captain Thomas
W. Shields, with whom all Cairo people
have become familiarly acquainted and

dancing, feasting and a generally happy
