Gufl will probably pass up from Mem phis for Cincinnati to-day The Belle, of Shrevcpnrt is due from St. Louis to-day en route to New Orleans. She is a mem ber of the Anchor Line fleet, George Cog- ill is her commander Frank Redman shipped on the James Howard as third clerk The Fawn, in from Evansville Friday night had a light trip The fleet one of the tYnchor Line, the beautiful City of Green ville, is due from Vicksburg to-tay, on her way to St, Louis The James D. Parker is due from Cincinnati for Memphis to-day The new stern wheel steamer Ariadne, Captain Ed. Donnelly, arrived here from Cincinnati yesterday. She left nearly all of her cargo at Taducah to be taken South by the Golden City. The Ariadne is a very pretty and complete little boat. She is named after the steam yacht Ariadne, owned by the Cairo City Coal company, to which craft Cap tain Donnelly took a great liking for the prompt work she performed when the A. C. Donually burned below this city some months ago The James Howard, having more ImsiueES than she could get away with on Friday, laid over here until yesterday afternoon, when she left for New Orleans with all the freight she could carry The Katie Hooper, at Mound City, will bo taken to Cincinnati by pilots, Ben frazirr and Hiram Brazer, who came out from that port on the Ariaduo Nothing has" been heard of Captain J, M.
