The weather is clear again and still cool
but not unreasonably so.

pated owing to recent rains swelling all its

branches and especially so in flour. For
some reason orders come in slow and are
cut as closely as t'iC demand of consumers
will admit. Prices although unchanged
are weak and uncertain, while stocks of all
kind are large.
The weather has been favorable for to
bacco, and dealers have not been slow to
take advantage of it. Sales although not
large have been fair and the results satis
factory all around.
FLOUH The market is dull and weak.
Storks of all grades are large. Orders are
light. Prices tend lower.
HAY The demand and receipts are
about etmal, aud the market is thus kept
evenly balanced. Any change would prob
ably be to lower prices.
CO UN 1'i'ceipts are light and the de
mand limited. Prices are steady and un
changed. OATS-Q jict. dull and lower. There is
hardly enough selling to establish a mar
ket. MEAL The market rules stendy at
