effect on business generally. The last threo
days have been oppressively hot; to-duy

would have been uneuclurablc by man or
beast had it not been for the stiff breeze
that prevailed ail day tempering its effect.
FLOUR The market has weakened con
siderable siuee the opening of the week
and stocks are accumulating.
HAY Receipts are small and the de
mand is very light. Prices continues as
CORN Steady and firm at unchanged
prices. Transactions are limited somewhat
by scarcity of supplies and light receipts.
OATS Receipts are Email and the de
MEAL Easy and unchanged.
BRAN-Plcnty and dull.
CUTTER Choice is in active demand
and prices rule firm.
EGGS The hot weather has a tendency
to depress the market.
CHICKENS The market is well sup
plied, firm and easy.
PEARS The supply is larger and the
prices are lower.
PEACHES Rcqeipt art! small and the
demand is steady. . '
