too cold just a delightful medium.

The river is receding again and boats are
meeting with considerable difficulty be

FLOUR The prices of the opening of
week arc well sustained, and the market is
strong and ilrtn.
HAY Receipts are liberal; there is a
fair amount in store and a moderately active
CORN Stocks are small and receipts
light; transactions are limited to broken
lots to fill orders.
OATS The supply is large and the do
mand very light, with no firmness mani
fested in the market.
MEAL Steady and unchanged.
BRAN Stocks are all held by tho mills.
BUTTER We note a dull market and
and accumulation of stocks.
EGGS Plenty and dull at quota
APPLES Plenty and very quiet. Tho
local market is suppled by country
ONIONS very little doing.
