The weather is dark and gloomy; most ot
to-day was passed in ft drizzling rain and
the atmosphere is murky and warm.
Under the influence of general rains the
rivers continue to crawl up their banks.
Kates continue firm and tonage plcntier
FLOUR The market is quiet and dull,
but prices are firmer owing to the change in
HAY Receipts are light but there is full
stocks of all grades, and prices are unchang
ed. CORN We note a quiet market with
light stocks and some inquiry for choice
OATS-Stocks are small and inquiry
liejit. Prices are steady and unchanged.
MEAL Steady and unchanged with lim
ited transactions owing to light Btocks.
BRAN We note a good demand with
scarcity of stocks.
BUTTER All kinds are overstocked
and country butter is a drug in the market.
EGGS Receipts are sold on arrival and
the supply is far 6hort of the demand.
POULTRY Chickens are overstocked
and eating their heads off to-day. The
weather is too unfavorable. Turkeys are
scarce and in good demand.
APPLES The supply of choice is email
and the demand active.
POTATOES Full stocked, dull and
