F. C. Alsdorf, formorly a residont of
Clifton and superintendent of the Cup-
ruo oppor company, but now n rosi
dent of Globe, arrived last week on
business connected with tho company.
He roports that Globo continues to forgo
to tho front and savs thai tho Clifton
colony at that place is flourishing.

Robert Ryan is horo from Globe for a
visit with tho homo folks.
Mrs. E. P. Marsh was hero from
Globe last week packing up tho house
hold goods. Tho family will return to
their old home at Everett, Wash.
Paul Adams, proprietor of tho monu
ment yard at Thatcher, has instituted
a branch of his business at Globe and
will spend a part of his time there.
Mr. Adams camo to tho valley two or
three years ago for considerations of
health and without any knowledge of
the monument business. By careful and
painstaking work he has mastered tho
trade and built up a business of consid
erable volume and promise. He has se
cured an interest in the marble quarrios
in the Dos Cabezas mountains and has
made several shipments of marble from
there to his Thatcher yard. Solomon

That wo, whoso hands and seals are
horeunto affixed, do hereby associato
ourselves together for tho purpose of
fprming a social and bonovolont asso
ciation or corporation, not for pecuni
ary profit, under tho laws of tho Terri
tory of Arizona, and to that end make
tho following declaration:
FIRST. Tho names of tho corpora
tors are D. Bortoglio, James Sassoo,
James Bracco and Charles Bruno; and
tho namo of tho association shall bo
tho X.EGA FRATELLANZA OF ITALO-
AMERICAN SOCIETY OF THE UNIT
ED STATES OF AMERICA. Tho prin
cipal place within the Territory of Ari
zona in which tho business of said as
sociation is to be transacted is
Globe, in Gila County, and tho as
sociation may establish branch offices
either within or without the Territory
of Arizona whoro meetings of tho Board
of Directors may bo hold.
SECOND. Tho general naturo of tho
business proposed to bo transacted by
this association and its general objects
nro as follows, to wit: To promoto so
cial and fraternal intercourse and asso
ciation among its mombers; to do and
carry on such business and cbarltabla
work among its mombers as may be ex
pedient, advisable or necessary; to ac
quire and hold such real estate as may
bo nocessary to carry on its fraternal,
social, bonevolont and charitable pur
poses; nnd to mortgage and sell or
otherwise dispose of such real estate
pursuant to tho purposes of tho asso
ciation according to law.
THIRD. Tho time of tho commence
ment of this association shall be tho
date of tho filing of theso articles of
incorporation in the office of the County
Recordor of Gila County and of a certi
fied copy thereof in tho offico of tho
Territorial Auditor, and tho termination
thoreof shall bo twouty-fivo years there
after, unless tho termination thereof
shall bo duly extended in accordance
with law.
FOURTH. Tho affairs of this associ
ation shall bo conducted by a Board of
Directors, tho number thereof not to bo
less than three nor more than twenty
five members, and the following named
persons shall constitute tho Board of
Directors until their successors shall
lave been elected, namely: D. Bertog
Ho, James Sussoe, James Bracco, Charles
Kruno, Peter Beardo, K. Caretto, and
H. Bertoldo. Thereafter tho Board of
Directois shall bo elected from among
lie members on tho fourth Monday of
Juno and on the fourth day of every
sixth month succeeding said month of
June. The officers of said association,
until their successors shall have been
'looted, shall be: James Sassoo, Presi
.lent; Peter Bonrdo, Vice President; B.I
caretto, treasurer; $. Kertoldo, Secre
tary; D. Bertoglio, Financial Secretary.

poration of this association was duly
decided on and determined at said

fcify that an election was duly held at
Globe, Gila County, Territory of Ari
zona, on January 28, 1007, at a certain
meeting held at said place and at said
time for tho purpose of organizing n
social and bonovolont association to be
known as the Lega Fratellanza of Italo
Amoriean Socioty of tho United States
of America, and for the further purpose
of electiug directors who shall conduct
tho affairs of said association; that at
said election tho following named per
sons were duly elected as directors
thereof, namely: D. Bortoglio, James
Sassoe, James Bracco, Charles Bruno,
Peter Beardo, B. Caretto, and B. Bor
toldo; that tho officers conducting said
election at said meeting woro the fol
