The incident which furnishes material for these incidents began six months ago. A elerk in -the Southern Pacific railroad ofllces in the western city called his wife over the telephone one day at noon and told her to have lunch ready for him in a few minuteH, as ho had his hat on and would catch the next street car for home. He hung up the receiver, left the room apparently to go home and disappeared. Prom that moment all traco of him was lost. Na thum Wing was a man of excellent hah its, his business aflairs were in sound condition, he was a valued eiiqdoyoo, his future seemed bright, his homo life was happy. No one could suggest a mo tive for his disappearance. They then searched the city and the whole neigh borhood. Special detectives were em ployed. The ellorts to find the slightest chic were futile. After a while Mis. Wing, concluding that it would bo use less to hunt further and thinking that perhaps her husband had met with death in some strange way, sold theii lio me and she and tho child wont to Boston. It was there that her parents lived. Now comes the sequel. A few days ago a young clerk in a railroad ofiico in New Orleans asked a follow clerk to tell him where Columbus street was. It was on Columbus street in Denver that his home hnd been. When ho was told that he was in Now Orleans he would not believe it. He was Anally con vinced. He had como to tho Now Or leans office a few weeks previously, had applied for a position, had obtained it and had started to work. Ho remem bered nothing of all this. After much effort he got into communication with his wife in Boston and by this time they are together once more. What can be more fascinating to the student than theso mysteries of the hu man brain? Here in tho case of Na thum Wing is a psychic phenomenon of marvelous interest. His story is strik ing as a nanative; as an episode of scientific valuo it is of exceptional weight.
