poration is to locate, buy, bond, ac
quire, hold, own, lease, possess, operate,
or sell or otherwise dispose of mines
and mining claims, or prospects, of gold,
silver or copper, and all other minerals,
and all kinds of mineral lands or prop
erties; to buy, lease, or otherwise ac
quire, to hold and own, manage, oner-

or otherwise dispose of any dovoloped
lands, concessions, franchises, mining
elaims, oil wells, and any and all other
real ostato and interests in any of said
properties; to engage in the building
of stamp mills, smelters and other mills

ing precious motals, boring, digging,
drilling, tunnolling and exploring for,
producing, rofining, treating, piping,
handling, storing, dealing in, buying
and selling gold, silver, copper, coal,
iron, oil, load, zinc, salt, petroleum, min
eral gas, asphaltum, bitumen, bitumin
ous rock, and other minerals and hydro
carbon substances, and for such pur
posos to buy, contract for, lease or
otherwise acquire, hold, own, manage,
operate, mortgage or soil or otherwise
convey, refineries, pipo lines, tank cars,
manufactories, machinery and other
works, property and appliances and
rights-of-way that may be necessary or
convenient or appurtenant for the pur
poses of said corporation; to manufac
ture electricity, obtain rights of way,
erect poles, string wires, and buy or
sell electricity; to carry on and coutrol
a general merchandise, forwarding, com
mission and storage business and to
that end to deal in any and all conv
moditios of every kind conducivo to the
successful conduct of said business; to
buy, procure, hold, own, soil, construct,
equip, mortgage, maintain and operate
railroads, stoarnships, forrics, tramways,
stage lines, automobiles and any and
all other kinds of transportation, in
cluding equipments thereof and there
for, for mining or transporting, or i'or
other lawful use of business; to own,
handle or control letters pat
ent and inventions; to purchase
or otherwise acquire, hold, own, pledge,
